At the very beginning of the opening of Five Acres, we were fortunate to receive a donation of items from Sara and Simon Davies, founders of Crafter’s Companion, Newton Aycliffe.

This allowed us to begin our arts and crafts sessions with a sizable amount of crafts resources.

We now run arts and crafts sessions almost every day in our “Green Room”, including painting, modeling, textiles, digital art and even making our own clay products and Christmas cards for Paul Howell MP.

Champions also take part in enterprise projects, making handmade products such as cards and wax melts to sell at fundraising events.
